The U9 MD (Minor Development) program is a hockey category for players under 9 years old that our Club is introducing for the 2025-2026 hockey season.  The U9 MD program is designed around skill development rather than competitive play. The program consists of four levels of instruction, designed specifically for young hockey players. Each level features practice plans that follow a defined progression path, introducing and refining skills in skating, puck control, passing, and shooting.

Registration is now open for the 2025-26 season. The Hockey Club encourages players to register before the hockey season begins so that effective decisions can be made regarding the number of teams in each division, particularly for Local League. This causes some significant difficulties, as it pushes the whole season back while people are still registering. Registration will close August 31st, 2025.
